Sainte-Chapelle, Paris, France
There are 1100 scenes in the stained glass that surround this beautiful church, built between 1242 and 1248. We visited during the day to see the sun drench the nave in multi-colors. We came back in the evening to hear a stringed quartet fill the chamber with Pachelbel's Canon in D, Handel's Sarabande and Vivaldi's Four Seasons. When the audience left I took one last look and was inspired by how the chandeliers now lit the church inside.
